CONSIGNMENT PROGRAM

How Much Will You Earn?

Your share of the sale price:

  • 50% on the first $100
  • 65% on the next $400
  • 80% on the remaining amount over $500
    (After minimum commission—see below)

Program Details

  • Our Commission: Based on the sale price of each item (excluding sales tax and shipping, if applicable).
  • Payouts: Payments are made at the end of each month for items sold at least 14 days prior. You can choose to receive payment via check (mailed or in-store pickup), Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or opt for store credit with a 5% bonus.
  • Pricing: Items may be listed at a fixed price with periodic reductions or sold via auction for a quicker sale.
  • Setting a Minimum Price: We research and price items for maximum value, but if you have a minimum price, let us know. If the item doesn’t sell at that price, we’ll reduce it by 10% each month until it sells or you pick it up (return fees apply).
  • Return Fee:
    • $50 per bicycle (plus parts & labor if applicable)
    • $30 per item
  • Minimum Commission: A $30 minimum commission per item applies to cover selling costs.
  • Repairs & Adjustments: We cover the first $25 in labor for each complete bike. Any additional repairs or parts costs will be deducted from your payout. For example, if a bike requires a $75 tune-up, your payout will be reduced by $50 ($75 - $25 covered by us).
  • Shipping Your Items to Us: If shipping items for consignment, you must cover packing and postage. Before sending, email us a description and photos for approval. If an item is not accepted for resale, you may either cover return costs or allow us to donate it.
  • Same Rates for In-Store & Online Sales: Whether your item sells in-store or online (eBay, etc.), your payout remains the same. While eBay sales are quick, in-store sales often require more time to assist customers.

Consignment Payment Examples

  • Item sells for $100 on eBay (via PayPal):

    • You receive $50
    • eBay/PayPal fees: $13
    • Our commission: $37

  • Item sells for $1,000 online (via credit card):

    • You receive $710
    • Credit card fees: $30
    • Our commission: $260

  • Item sells for $60 in-store (via cash):

    • You receive $30
    • Our commission: $30 (due to the $30 minimum commission)

  • Item sells for $25 in-store (via cash):

    • You receive $1
    • Our commission: $24 (due to the $30 minimum commission and $1 minimum payout)

How Long Does It Take to Sell?

Most items are listed within a couple of weeks and sell within a few months, but this can vary depending on demand and pricing preferences.
